Preparing the Mercedes W124 for a Lanoguard Treatment

Following the removal of flaking rust and corrosion, we proceed with the application of Moto Grease to critical areas such as weld seams, nuts, bolts, sharp edges, and mating surfaces.

With the Moto Grease applied we will then turn our attention to the Lanoguard fluid treatment.

We begin the process with an internal injection of Lanoguard into box sections, sills, subframes, and inner chassis, addressing hidden areas where rust and corrosion may develop unnoticed.

Finishing Up on the Mercedes W124

The Lanoguard rust protection treatment is left overnight to dry. Once this is complete we remove all the protective covering and re-assemble the vehicle.

The front wheel arch splash shields are re-installed, any bodywork rubber bungs are re-installed and the road wheels are attached. Finally, the car is driven outside where it receives a thorough power wash to clean and remove any overspray that managed to get on the exterior bodywork.
